This full-time position spans the entire 2026-2027 school year, with a schedule of 35 hours per week. You'll work collaboratively with school staff to support students' development and promote their success in academic and functional tasks. Two positions are available.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan OT license required (please include a current license screenshot with your application)
- Verified school-based occupational therapy experience
- Deep understanding of K-12 developmental needs and therapy strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
- Proficient in creating and implementing student-centered treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Support classroom participation, fine motor skill development, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive skills
- Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize outcomes throughout the school year
