Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan
- Experience working in elementary or ECSE settings preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based OT interventions
- Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to address a variety of student needs
- Previous contract or substitute experience a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Document sessions and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and student support teams
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed to update goals and share student progress
- Provide insights and suggestions for classroom accommodations
