Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students referred for occupational therapy services.
- Create individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals tailored to each student.
- Deliver both direct and consultative OT services per each student's IEP.
- Partner with teachers, school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and families to support student outcomes.
- Recommend appropriate classroom accommodations, adaptive tools, and environmental modifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress updates, and Medicaid billing when necessary.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Track student progress and modify intervention plans as needed.
- Educate staff and families on strategies to help students thrive.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapist License.
- NBCOT certification required.
- Preference for previous school-based or pediatric experience, but open to dedicated new graduates.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence in working independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
