Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license/certification for California
- Experience delivering OT services in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in dynamic school environments
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services on campus
- Document therapy sessions and progress notes according to school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
- Support inclusion and accommodation within classroom and extracurricular settings
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to enhance student participation and success
