Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice
- Solid knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person occupational therapy services to K-12 students, addressing fine motor coordination, sensory processing, and educational access needs
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities through assessments
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise for goal setting and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
