- Current South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required)
- Prior experience delivering OT services in schools preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement effective intervention plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of varying backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized programs tailored to students’ needs
- Provide direct therapy to students—individually or in small groups—to improve functional, academic, and social skills
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to integrate therapies into classroom routines
- Document assessment results, progress, and therapy outcomes according to school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting and achieving student goals
- Serve as a resource and advocate for best practices in school-based OT
