You’ll work with a caseload of 52-58 students, collaborating with educators and families to optimize student success. The role provides a consistent 40-hour workweek, allowing you to immerse yourself in a school community and foster meaningful therapeutic relationships.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Background working with pediatric or school-based populations
- Understanding of IEP processes and related documentation
- Strong communication skills, both with children and adults
- Ability to effectively manage a moderate-to-large caseload
- Experience developing and implementing therapeutic interventions for students with a range of abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify each student’s unique needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student participation in classroom and school activities
- Maintain accurate and timely records including progress notes and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and other interdisciplinary team activities
