An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to make a positive impact with students and their families in a forward-thinking educational environment. Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license issued by the state of California (CA OT License required)
- Previous experience in school-based, home health, or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Background working with diverse caseloads across age groups
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver 8 hours of in-person support to students within the school setting, focusing on evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Utilize 4 hours per week for remote work, including teletherapy sessions, documentation, and coordination with staff or families
- Adapt therapy interventions to meet unique needs of each student, promoting academic, social, and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district, state, and federal protocols
- Cooperate with educators, administrators, and family members to support student success and inclusion
