School Occupational Therapist - Swanzey, New Hampshire

Step into an impactful role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers a fulfilling blend of clinical practice and educational collaboration, providing vital services to schools in the Swanzey, NH area. You'll work 30 hours weekly, splitting your expertise between two districts with an even two-day rotation at each location over a four-day workweek.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience providing OT services in schools strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to manage a school caseload independently and efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students ages pre-K through high school
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student achievement and participation
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet IEP goals
- Complete required documentation, progress notes, and reports in a timely, organized manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute actively to multi-disciplinary teams
- Travel between two district sites, fostering positive working relationships with both school communities
