Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Skilled in assessing and developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and related service providers
- Flexible and adaptable to changing student and campus needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students in need of OT services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized OT interventions in accordance with IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and school staff regarding student accommodations
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate updates to parents and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional recommendations
- Supervise and support a COTA if one is available to work alongside you
