Ideal Background and Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Washington (WA)
- At least 2 years of recent experience, especially within school or pediatric settings, is highly advantageous
- Active Medicaid provider enrollment and a current CAQH profile are essential
- Ability to be credentialed with additional insurance providers
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with a compassionate, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement IEP/504 goals
- Assess students’ skills and needs, providing timely, evidence-based interventions and recommendations
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting per school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary team discussions
