School Occupational Therapist - Temecula, California

In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators and support staff while serving a caseload of 34 students (with a few pending evaluations). The work schedule spans three on-site days per week, averaging between 22.5 and 24 hours, allowing committed focus and work-life balance in a dynamic educational setting.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with relevant credentials to work in a school-based environment.
- Proven experience or strong interest in serving students with Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Other Health Impairments (OHI).
- Comfort working with a wide range of ages, especially elementary and middle-grade students.
- A passion for collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork to best support student achievement.
- Strong understanding of managing IEP compliance and familiarity with direct, hands-on therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized occupational therapy to students, adapting methods to suit various developmental stages and primary eligibilities.
- Ensure timely and accurate management of student IEPs, including thoughtful documentation and goal tracking.
- Conduct evaluations as needed for pending students.
- Maintain clear communication and collaboration with on-site educational teams.
- Remain fully engaged in an on-site, in-person setting to optimize student outcomes.
