This onsite school-based OT role offers you the chance to support two welcoming elementary campuses, fostering student growth while leading and mentoring a COTA at one location. Your contribution will make a genuine difference for a diverse caseload of approximately 80 students, providing services and supports that help them reach their full potential.
This assignment is scheduled to start as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the current school year, covering a leave until June 4, 2027. You’ll enjoy a steady weekday schedule, working 8 hours per day, giving you the structure you need to achieve a positive work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, intervention planning, and documentation
- Background supervising or mentoring therapy staff is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across two elementary schools
- Supervise a COTA at one location, offering guidance and support
- Assess students and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain required documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to enhance student outcomes
