Make a meaningful impact supporting preschool students by providing occupational therapy services in a contract position serving multiple school sites near Thousand Oaks, CA. This full-time role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team and a young, energetic population of learners, with another SLP on site for collaboration and support.
In this position, you will:
- Provide occupational therapy services to preschoolers (ages 3-5) across multiple school locations
- Manage a caseload of up to 50 students, each with unique needs and goals
- Collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists and other educational staff to develop and monitor individualized student plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and family communication
- Adapt therapeutic activities for small groups and individual students, promoting skills for classroom participation and daily functional routines
- Effectively document sessions, progress, and outcomes according to school protocols
- Start ASAP and support students up to June 17, 2026, with a spring break from March 30 - April 10, 2026
Qualifications we’re seeking:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for California
- Previous experience in school settings, ideally with preschool-aged children
- Comfort working independently at multiple school sites within the week
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, organization, and digital documentation
- Able to thrive with a variable caseload and enjoy working alongside other therapists
