Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and goal setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapeutic practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support students’ functional abilities in the classroom and beyond
- Monitor progress and maintain clear, compliant documentation in accordance with school policies
- Advise and train school staff on strategies to support students’ access to curriculum and participation in school activities
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and parent conferences as needed
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment where every student can thrive
