Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and delivering direct therapy services to students
- Ability to document treatment effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible to adapt to different school environments and caseloads as assignments are finalized
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, consultation, and direct therapy for students as part of their IEP services
- Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at increasing students’ success in academic and daily life activities
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to tailor interventions that promote student progress
- Serve multiple sites, adapting therapy sessions to the needs of diverse school communities
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings and team consultations as required
Position Details:
- Contract assignment beginning ASAP and running through the end of the school year
- Flexible schedule: 3 days a week, totaling approximately 21-24 hours
