Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) eligible for practice in the state
- School-based OT experience is a plus, though not required
- Ability to effectively assess and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students’ functional needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies to promote student participation and success
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and well-being
- Provide mentorship and supervision to COTAs when necessary
