Desired Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Recent experience in school-based OT or COTA settings
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt and collaborate with teachers, families, and other clinicians
- Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with techniques for supporting various learning abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy to students according to their IEPs
- Assess, plan, and implement intervention strategies to enhance students’ daily school participation
- Maintain clear and organized treatment records
- Consult and collaborate with school staff and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Assist in developing classroom strategies and adaptive materials to foster student success
