This travel assignment provides a unique professional experience, as you support both an elementary school as well as a K-8 campus from March 30th through May 28th. Working in two different school environments allows you to broaden your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy, collaborate with a diverse team of educators and therapists, and strengthen your resume by adapting to varied school settings and student needs. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in elementary and K-8 settings.
- Conduct screening, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
- Document student progress and comply with school policies and procedures.
- Contribute to IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in Arizona (or eligibility).
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
