Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT license and registration
- Experience in school-based OT practice is required
- Additional background in home health, healthcare, or teletherapy is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments, create and update individualized education programs (IEPs), and track student progress
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services, adapting to diverse learning needs
- Support a caseload of approximately 55 students ranging from TK to 6th grade
- Integrate therapeutic activities to enhance academic achievement, self-care, and social participation
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the best interventions and accommodations
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide input on student progress and interventions
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to expand service reach
