School Occupational Therapist - Vancouver, Washington

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist licensure
- Experience in school-based OT roles is preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and intervention planning skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Skilled in adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' needs and develop customized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Work closely with educators and special education teams to integrate OT strategies into classrooms
- Consult with families and share progress, resources, and recommendations
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with school and legal requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
- Promote students’ independence and participation in daily school activities
