This opportunity is located near Vista, CA, focusing on school-based occupational therapy. You'll enjoy a consistent schedule of 7.5 hours per day while working closely with students and staff to foster growth and learning.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid OT licensure for California
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school environment (required)
- Ability to manage a caseload across no more than three school sites
- Effective communication and collaborative skills within educational teams
- Confidence in creating and adapting treatment plans to address IEP goals
- Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students as part of their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families to deliver effective therapy
- Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress and sessions
- Adapt therapeutic strategies for individualized and group needs within a school setting
- Support the integration of therapeutic activities into classroom routines and daily school life
