Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Confidence working with a diverse K-12 caseload
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy and individualized student care
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across all grade levels
- Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement appropriate therapeutic goals and strategies
- Conduct assessments, interpret data, and help shape individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide engaging therapy that promotes student independence and school participation
- Document progress, interventions, and maintain required records
- Help facilitate a smooth transition for the district to a full-time, in-person OT support model
