Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active state licensure to practice occupational therapy
- Experience delivering OT services in school environments preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEP goals and therapeutic interventions individually and in small groups
- Must be able to work onsite; virtual or COTA supervision not available for this role
- Commitment to supporting students’ functional independence and academic engagement
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and contribute expertise in the development of IEPs
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy to support fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school participation
- Consult with educators and families to integrate strategies and accommodations into the academic setting
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to achieve student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all school and state requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to promote an inclusive, supportive learning environment
