Qualifications:
- Prior experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school-based setting
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (applicants must provide a screenshot of their licensure upon application)
- Ability to work with a diverse age population (K–26)
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for interaction with educators, families, and students
- Willingness to work onsite; remote or teletherapy options are not available for this role
- COTA candidates will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to support educational access and participation
- Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to IEP meetings and collaborative goal setting
- Educate teachers, support staff, and families on strategies that improve students’ school-based performance
- Monitor, reassess, and adjust interventions to suit evolving student needs and goals
