- Ability to conduct evaluations and complete Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) reports
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, designing individualized strategies tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support student goals
- Assess students through standardized and functional evaluations to determine the need for OT services
- Develop, write, and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Prepare thorough MET reports and participate actively in MET and IEP meetings
- Maintain detailed records, monitor student progress, and adjust intervention plans as necessary
