Step into an impactful onsite opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. This contract assignment offers a chance to provide expert therapy services across several school sites, making a direct difference in students’ educational experiences.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering services to a diverse caseload within the district, collaborating closely with educational staff and parents to ensure students receive the support they need.
What You’ll Bring:
- Active Occupational Therapy license valid in Connecticut
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the district
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Provide direct OT services onsite, tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals
- Document clinical progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned schools as needed during the week
Assignment Details:
- Contract duration: August 27, 2026 – February 9, 2027
- Full-time schedule: 35 hours per week
- District-wide need, serving one caseload across multiple locations
