Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California
- Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency with IEP processes and school documentation
- Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and strategies for a diverse student population
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Comfortable working onsite for the full academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention plans
- Support student participation and performance in classroom activities, adapting materials or environments as needed
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators
- Attend IEP and team meetings, actively contributing expertise to inform student support plans
- Deliver consultative support and training to school staff regarding OT strategies and best practices
