Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Wisconsin
- Experience in school-based OT settings (elementary preferred)
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and travel between multiple school sites
- Commitment to fostering student growth, independence, and classroom participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and make recommendations for interventions and supports
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional school participation
- Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and parents
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and communication
- Assist in supporting staff with classroom modifications and adaptive strategies
