Requirements & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
- Experience in school-based OT practice preferred
- Background in home health, teletherapy, or healthcare OT settings beneficial
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Comfortable with digital platforms and teletherapy sessions
- Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to evidence-based interventions
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students (in-person and via teletherapy)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and ongoing assessments
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans to address fine/gross motor skills, adaptive skills, and sensory needs
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and adhere to district and federal guidelines
- Offer support for home-based therapy as needed
