Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP writing, goal development, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers
- Document progress, update reports, and attend IEP meetings
- Assist students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, and self-help skills
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
