- Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in California.
- Experience working in K-12 school settings, delivering individualized and group therapy.
- Background in home health OT or other healthcare OT settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, support staff, and families.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage varied caseloads and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with a range of abilities and needs.
- Collaborate with educators, school teams, and families to optimize students’ participation and success.
- Deliver targeted interventions in both school and, as needed, home environments.
- Maintain accurate records and report on progress as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Actively participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning, and problem-solving discussions.
- Advocate for students’ occupational therapy needs to support their educational goals.
