School Occupational Therapist - Woodland Park, Colorado
An excellent contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting K-12 students. Based near Woodland Park, CO, this role is ideal for someone ready to make a difference across an entire district.
With a commitment of 30 hours per week, you will work district-wide, managing a K-12th grade caseload and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. The contract extends through the school year, with an end date of May 21, 2026.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado
- Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and diverse student needs
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel within the district as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and timely progress reports
- Offer guidance to teachers and families on occupational therapy strategies for classroom and home use
