Two full-time opportunities are available, one supporting elementary-level learners and another focusing on high school students for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll play a vital role in helping students reach their highest potential through evidence-based therapy and collaborative support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
- Previous experience in school-based OT services, home health, or related healthcare settings
- Ability to assess and implement individualized interventions for children and adolescents
- Strong organizational skills and a passion for inspiring young learners
- Effective communication with students, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to assigned students, ensuring therapy goals are met in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other support personnel to promote student success
- Maintain accurate, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school and state standards
- Educate families and staff about therapy strategies for classroom, home, and community environments
- Advocate for each student’s unique needs within the school system
Make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year, from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. One position will support students at the elementary level (1.25 FTE at Brick Elementary), while the other will focus on high school students (1.0 FTE).
