What we’re looking for:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license for Michigan
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare settings
- Ability to adapt therapy to different age groups and learning levels
- Familiarity with IEPs and goal-setting for students with a variety of needs
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to building positive relationships with students and staff
Key responsibilities:
- Assess students’ abilities and create tailored intervention plans
- Provide direct therapy services in classroom, individual, and home-based settings as needed
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ academic participation
- Document progress and maintain clear, timely records
- Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP development and review
