Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current CCA Occupational Therapy license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT role highly desirable
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, support staff, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs across different ages and abilities
- Excellent time management and organization capabilities
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom modifications and accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student success
- Consult with families to facilitate generalization of skills at home and in the community
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with relevant guidelines and reporting requirements
