An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist seeking a contract role in a dynamic K-12 educational setting. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 11, 2027, providing an excellent long-term position to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California (required)
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy or working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to assess and address students’ physical, sensory, and motor skill development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, parents, and fellow specialists
- Organizational skills and flexibility to manage a full caseload
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite, evidence-based OT services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement treatment plans
- Document services rendered and progress in accordance with school and district policies
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families on strategies to support students' learning and participation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for students
