Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT license in California
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred (K-12)
- Ability to effectively manage and communicate with a diverse caseload
- Strong assessment, documentation, and report writing skills
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and other specialists
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs within the K-12 range
- Complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions
- Document services, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation in academic and daily activities
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the development of student goals
- Offer consultation and training for school personnel as needed
