Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility for CA licensure by August 2026)
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEP) and experience documenting progress
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Open to travel professionals as well as local candidates who are committed to onsite work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services to K-12 students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess students’ functional needs and develop effective therapy goals and interventions
- Maintain accurate case notes and progress reports consistent with compliance requirements
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure students’ success
- Engage in team meetings and contribute insights for multidisciplinary planning
This assignment offers consistent, full-time hours (37.5 hours/week) from August 2026 through June 2027. Being onsite allows for hands-on support and genuine connection with your students and colleagues, all in a setting that values your professional insight.
