Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Ability to manage and adjust to varying caseloads and school schedules
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and related service professionals
- Willingness to complete required fingerprinting and credentialing in a timely manner
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following students’ IEPs
- Travel between assigned schools and deliver support across different age groups and classroom environments
- Document therapy sessions and student progress according to school guidelines
- Equip teachers and caregivers with strategies to support students’ functional independence
- Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment while supporting student engagement
- Collaborate closely with educational teams to optimize student outcomes
