Pediatric School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Bismarck, North Dakota

Support students' growth and development by working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) specializing in pediatric care. This is a full-time, on-site position in a welcoming educational setting near Bismarck, ND, offering the chance to make a tangible impact on the lives of children. Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and family members
• Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in delivering effective occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
• Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills, self-care abilities, and adaptive behaviors
• Document student progress and communicate observations to supervising therapists and educational staff
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights regarding students’ occupational therapy needs
