Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Previous experience working with school-aged children highly preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with therapy teams, teachers, and families
- Knowledge of IEP processes and school documentation standards
- Creative, solution-focused approach to student goals and challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services under OT supervision
- Assist in creating and executing individualized strategies to address students’ functional, sensory, and motor goals
- Collect and document data on student progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support educational and therapeutic objectives
- Participate in meetings as required, including IEP sessions and staff trainings
