Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- School-based experience preferred, but all passionate COTAs are welcome to apply
- Ability to work effectively with OT team members
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Quick to adjust in dynamic environments; flexible with changing caseloads
- Reliable with a strong commitment to student success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the OT team with direct and indirect services for students
- Follow OT plans and document all interventions accurately
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed
- Assist in developing and adapting activities to promote student participation
- Engage with caregivers and educators to implement effective strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide timely updates to the OT team
