This contract opportunity provides the unique chance to work in a school-based setting, serving multiple campuses throughout the area. Sites will be assigned prior to the school year, and you’ll support students across a dynamic community.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida COTA license required
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
- Ability to adapt to new environments and collaborate with diverse staff teams
- Must be comfortable and willing to travel as needed across the county to serve assigned schools
- Reliable transportation essential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in K–12, supporting educational goals and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, educators, and other school staff to promote students’ success
- Implement therapy interventions under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation as required by school and state standards
- Travel between assigned schools to provide consistent and timely therapy services
