This full-time contract role spans from August 2026 through June 2027 and will have you working Monday through Friday, with 32 to 37.5 hours each week. Skills and Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure required
- Previous experience in a school setting or with K-12 students strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Proficient in providing direct therapeutic interventions under occupational therapist supervision
- Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and adhering to professional guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of individualized and group therapy sessions according to each student's IEP
- Collect and record data to measure students' progress and contribute to evaluations
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and school staff to promote students’ motor, sensory, and adaptive skills within the educational setting
- Assist in developing and implementing classroom strategies and modifications
- Provide feedback and resources to families and educators to reinforce therapy goals
