Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Newport, NH

You'll be working a Monday through Friday schedule, averaging between 32 and 37.5 hours per week, with the academic year running from August 2026 through June 2027.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
- Passion for supporting student success and engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, educators, and support staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Assist in screenings, evaluations, and assessments as needed
- Modify classroom environments and recommend adaptive equipment to support student participation
- Communicate with families and staff regarding student progress and therapy goals
