Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Providence, RI

Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Rhode Island
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) is preferred
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to accommodate a diverse range of student needs and abilities
- Commitment to a collaborative, student-focused approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct therapy services to students, supporting their development and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student sessions and progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
