Position Details
Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Near Providence, RI
Schedule: Full-Time
Assignment: School-Based
School Sites: 1 school site

Qualifications
Active Rhode Island COTA license
Previous pediatric experience required (1+ years preferred)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with OTs, educators, and families
Experience working with a severe caseload
Open to safety care training (school provided)

Responsibilities
Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist in IEP development and create goals
Support students with fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills to promote success in the classroom
Document student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to help students meet their goals
Travel between assigned school sites as needed
