In this itinerant role, you’ll travel between approximately three sites, collaborating closely with school staff and supervisors. You’ll have the support of district-provided supervision, ensuring ongoing professional development and clinical guidance as you deliver essential occupational therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Current, active COTA license in Arizona
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to effectively support students with a range of mild to severe needs
- Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork
- Reliable transportation to provide services across multiple schools
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing therapy plans designed by Occupational Therapists
- Work directly with students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence
- Adapt activities and collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights on student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional learning as part of a multidisciplinary team
