You’ll thrive in an itinerant role, supporting students in approximately three locations. With dedicated supervision provided by the district, you’ll have the guidance and collaboration necessary to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to children with mild to severe requirements.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Arizona COTA license
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Ability to travel between multiple sites as needed
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR)
- Support students with mild to severe needs, promoting independence and skill development
- Collaborate with educational staff to ensure integrated care within classroom settings
- Accurately document session notes and maintain compliance with district and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
