You’ll collaborate closely with supervising team members and educators across approximately three different locations, providing direct services to students with mild to severe needs.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
- IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start
- Experience in a school-based setting highly valued
- Adaptability to work with diverse caseloads, from mild to severe needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in an itinerant role, traveling between sites
- Passion for supporting students’ growth and independence
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students as indicated in IEPs
- Implement therapeutic strategies and interventions under OT supervision
- Travel between assigned schools to ensure consistent support
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and supervisors to ensure cohesive support plans
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized student goals
